Saving lists
The information in a List window can be saved as tab-delimited text, or as references to the items in the list for recall later.
Saving a list to reopen later
  1. Click the Save toolbar item, or choose the File Save List command.
  2. Use the Format pop-up menu in the save file dialog to specify whether the list should be saved as a list file.
  3. Specify whether you want the entire list or only the current selection should be saved.
  4. Specify a location into which the file should be saved.
  5. Click Save.
Saved lists save and restore the current selection and marked states, as well as the current list columns settings.
Saving a list as text
  1. Click the Save toolbar item, or choose the File Save List command.
  2. Use the Format pop-up menu in the save file dialog to specify the list should be saved as text.
  3. Select an option from the Text files save pop-up menu to save all visible column data, just the names, or just the paths. If either the options that save paths is selected, File Buddy will save paths in the format specifed in the File Lists panel of the Preferences window.
  4. Specify whether you want the entire list or only the current selection should be saved.
  5. Specify a location into which the file should be saved.
  6. Click Save.
